Point 1

Experience the Latest Science and Technology

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Experience the Latest Science and Technology
At the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, interesting permanent exhibits are displayed in three themes, offering content that can be enjoyed by children and adults alike. You can explore the workings of the world around us, such as space, the Earth's environment, and the origin of life, on various scales. You can experience future treatments tailored to your individual constitution through games, and you can actually touch robot technology used in medical settings. In "Geo-Cosmos," which uses the latest LED panels, you can feel the changes on Earth through the appearance of clouds captured by artificial satellites. Let's not only deepen our knowledge but also have an exciting experience using cutting-edge technology!
Point 2

Experience the Power of a Dome Theater

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Experience the Power of a Dome Theater
At the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation's Dome Theater Gaia, you can experience science and space through immersive 3D images that surround you. Three different films are shown every hour, including "INHERIT: Hayabusa2 - Carrying the Dreams and Challenges of Space Exploration." This film is a dome visual work that focuses on the theme of the Hayabusa2 asteroid probe and the creation of things that will be passed on to the future. It's a must-see with its impressive computer graphics and grand music that express the passion of those involved in its development and the dream of space. The film lasts about 30 minutes and features narration by Kuranosuke Sasaki and Takahiro Sakurai. The Dome Theater has assigned seating, so don't forget to make a reservation.
Point 3

Special and Planned Exhibitions that Change Depending on the Season

National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation Special and Planned Exhibitions that Change Depending on the Season
At the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation, various planned exhibitions are held each season, allowing visitors to have new experiences each time they visit. Currently, the "NEO Living on the Moon Exhibition - Towards a New Era of Lunar Residency through Space Development!" is being held as of June 2023, offering a new and unique space exhibition where you can experience life on the moon. Based on actual scientific knowledge, it depicts a world where long-term stays by lunar pioneers have been realized. From children to adults, you can enjoy learning about space while experiencing the "lifestyle" of lunar exploration. In the past, exhibitions have also been held in collaboration with popular anime characters and manga, offering a variety of ways to enjoy the museum.
