Ohsu Beach in Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture, is a scenic spot selected as one of Japan's Top 100 Beaches. Its feature is the vast sandy shoreline where you can enjoy fishing for rockfish, flounder, and halibut. It's difficult to do shore fishing because there are wave-dissipating blocks at the water's edge, but you can aim for halibut, horse mackerel, and sea bass with lure fishing. You can also expect to catch a lot of fish from summer to autumn!
