Japan's Tallest Tower for the Miho Ropeway

Mizusawa Ropeway Japan's Tallest Tower for the Miho Ropeway
The Miho Ropeway boasts a tower that is particularly noteworthy. This tower, officially named "No. 6 Support Column," stands at an elevation of approximately 943m on Mount Miho and boasts an impressive height of 61m. As a result, it is the tallest tower for the Miho Ropeway in Japan. When it first opened in 1959 (Showa 34), this tower was the same green color as the other towers, but it was repainted white in October 1964 (Showa 39). Like the Tokyo Tower, it was assembled using riveted joints and is worth seeing. When using the Miho Ropeway, you can see this tower, which is Japan's tallest, with ease. Enjoy the beauty of Mount Miho's scenery while experiencing the thrill of an aerial walk.
