Shofukuji Jizodo is the only wooden national treasure building in Tokyo. Along with Kamakura's Engakuji Shariden, it is considered a representative example of Zen-style architecture. The building features a hipped roof and was constructed in 1407. It is highly valued for its historical significance and is a popular tourist spot for activities such as Tokyo cultural heritage tours and exploring the northern Tama area. The interior is open to the public three times a year, on the second Sunday of June and on August 8th. When visiting, be sure to take a look inside.
