Itoyama Park and Kurushima Kaikyo Observatory

The Itoyama Park and Kurushima Kaikyo Observatory serve as the base on the Imabari side of the Shimanami Kaido. The view from here is a stunning harmony of the beauty of the Shimanami Kaido and natural beauty, with the Kurushima Kaikyo Strait and Kurushima Kaikyo Bridge, dotted with islands, right before your eyes. From the Itoyama Observatory, you can see Kurushima, located at the mouth of the Hamanohama Bay, which was the base of the Kurushima Kamakura clan. There is a large parking lot, so please come by car.
