The National Yoshinogari Historical Park is a valuable spot where you can experience the remains of a Yayoi period village. The circular moat village, castle fence, and watchtower have been restored, allowing you to catch a glimpse of how people lived and traded at the time. Vertical pit dwellings and elevated storehouses have also been recreated, and at the excavation exhibit hall, you can learn about the evolution of burial practices. In addition, there are plenty of experiential programs to enjoy, such as making a set of "three types of relics" and trying ancient clam soup dishes. It's a tourist spot that both children and adults can enjoy.
