Nagoya Castle Ruins are the remains of a castle built by Toyotomi Hideyoshi as a front-line base before the Bunroku-Keicho War. A castle town was built around it, and at its peak, it prospered with a population of over 100,000 people. The ruins of the daimyo's residences, including Tokugawa Ieyasu and Maeda Toshiie, remain at Nagoya Castle Ruins, which have been designated as a special historic site. In addition, the Nagoya Castle Museum exhibits a wide variety of collections. It is a must-see spot for history enthusiasts.
