Access the Sakurajima Magma Hot Springs in about 15 minutes by ferry from Sakurajima Port!

When using public transportation to access the Sakurajima Magma Hot Springs, you can arrive in about an 8-minute walk from Sakurajima Port. Ferries run from Kagoshima City to Sakurajima Port, and it takes about 15 minutes to arrive at Sakurajima. If you're using a car, it's about 40km from the Kokubu IC on the Higashi-Kyushu Expressway via National Routes 220 and 224. You'll need to park your car at Sakurajima Port, take a ferry for about 15 minutes, and then walk to the hot springs after crossing to Sakurajima. Sakurajima is a popular tourist destination, so access by public transportation, car, and ferry is relatively convenient. However, we recommend visiting while being mindful of the weather and ferry schedules.

桜島に渡った際に寄りました。桜島が火山だから、温泉もあるんだね。桜島マグマ温泉。。。ベタな名前ですが、そのセンスは嫌いじゃない。値段も普通の銭湯と同じ400円しませんでした。タオルは購入、バスタオルはレンタルで各100と200円でした。脱衣所のロッカーが有料です。珍しく利用料が返却されないタイプです。温泉ですが、鉄の匂いが凄いです。鉄分多めだと思います。観光最後に寄ることが多いと思いますが、入浴時間、フェリー時間を考えたら、鹿児島市内でレンタカー返却の場合は２時間前に寄らないと時間に余裕ないかも。

鉄の匂いがぷんぷんする個人的に好きな泉質。温度もちょうど良い感じでした。フェリー埠頭から歩いて５分くらい。市電の１日乗車券（600円）を買うと、温泉料金が300円（90円引き）になります。

まず、有り得ないコスパだと思います通常390円 𝖼𝗎𝗍𝖾の割引で300円これで天然温泉に加えてサウナと水風呂、そしてシャンプー類も完備さらにお風呂上がりの休憩スペースまである正直驚愕です泉質は塩化物泉で、高温のため多少加水されているということもあり茶透明という感じですが、良い泉質だと感じますスケジュールの問題であまりゆっくりできなかったのが悔やまれますが、また絶対きたいと思いましたロッカーだけは100円ノーリターン式ですたまに酷評もあるようですが、300円代のサウナ水風呂付き天然温泉にこれ以上何を求めるの？という感想です
