Access from Amami Oshima Airport is about 1 hour and 10 minutes by car
To access the Kuroshio no Mori Mangrove Park by public transportation, take the Shimabus bound for Nase (West Coast) from Amami Oshima Airport and get off at the final stop, Nase (West Coast), which takes about 55 minutes. From there, transfer to the Shimabus bound for Koniya and get off at the bus stop in front of the Mangrove Park, which takes about 30 minutes. It's just a short walk from the bus stop. If you're coming by car, it takes about 1 hour and 10 minutes from Kagoshima Prefecture's Amami Oshima Airport to arrive.
