続100名城の一つです。勝山公園駐車場に停めて行きました。城内には流鏑馬体験や動く籠、宮本武蔵に関する展示等があり楽しめました。天守は５階ですが、4階はレンタルスペース、5階はカフェになっています。９時半頃に着きましたが、まだ少し空いていました。続々と観光客が来ていましたので、流鏑馬体験等をされる場合は人が少ない時間帯を狙った方が良いと思います。市内中心部に近く、商業施設の直ぐそばにあるため、食事等にも困らないと思います。勝山公園駐車場から先に天守に向かいました。その後大手門を出て、お土産販売、カフェの城テラスへ行き、そこで100名城スタンプ、御城印を買いました。御城印は登城限定のものもあり購入時には天守のチケット提示が必要でした。

🏣福岡県北九州市小倉北区城内2-1 🅿️🚗…有りました 🚃…西小倉駅下車徒歩10分程、小倉駅下車徒歩15分程 ※ 入城時間 9時～20時（季節により19時）入城料 350円～100円（小倉城庭園+松本清張…700円） ※ 別名勝山城.勝野城.指月城.湧金城.鯉の城 ※ 1569年中国地方の毛利氏が城を築いた事から始まり、高橋鑑種や毛利勝信が居城した。 1602年から細川忠興が7年掛けて唐造天守閣を築城し、細川氏の熊本転封の後、1632年に譜代大名であ有る小笠原忠真が入城、以後幕末まで小笠原氏の居城と成る。 1837年に失火のため天守閣が焼失、残る城郭も1866年、第二次長州征討の混乱の中で小倉藩、自ら城を焼却した。 ※ 戦後1959年天守閣が再建された。 ※ 復興された天守閣にも、本丸の空堀、水堀、大手門跡、虎ノ門跡、桜門の跡等を見て歩きました。丁度、仮装イベントが行われてい、沢山の若いかた達で賑わっていました。

小倉駅より、魚町を楽しみながらリバウォーク方面に歩いていると到着します。約十五分程です。小倉のランドマーク的存在で繁華街のイメージから一転、歴史ある風情がたまりません！隅々まで行き届いた整備！綺麗の一言！是非一度訪れてみて下さい。
