Stayed for a couple of weeks whilst visiting friends and family in the area. Exterior of the hotel is impressive and the free parking is a good bonus. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk from Shin-Iizuka station and there are many restaurants and convenience stores nearby.
The interior of the hotel is dated and I suspect it hasn't been updated since the hotel was built in the late 80's or early 90's. The room was spacious but there was limited control of the room temperature (central air - low, medium, high, off).
The room and bathroom was very clean, so no complaints there.
The wi-fi coverage was terrible and it was difficult to remain connected to the internet during the stay.
The included breakfast was not great; Western and Japanese options were available but everything tasted similar and many mornings I skipped the breakfast and bought food at the nearby convenience store instead. The smell of the breakfast and the previous nights' buffet hung around the lobby and was a little off-putting.
I spoke in Japanese to the staff but I believe that English-speaking staff are available. Staff were friendly and were always available.
