Daimon Hirin Park

Daimon Hirin Park is a nature-rich park located in Ichikawamisato, Yamanashi Prefecture. It has about 300 trees that are over 100 years old, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery throughout the four seasons. Especially in autumn, the fall foliage is stunning, attracting many tourists. Daming Bi Forest Park is a park that collects famous monuments from Xian Beilin in Shaanxi Province, the most famous in China, and Qufu Beilin in Shandong Province. It is a collection of Wang Xizhi's calligraphy, which has been considered a treasure trove of calligraphy since ancient times. In addition to Daming Bi Forest, the park has a large lawn, playground equipment, toilets, and parking. It's free to use, so you can visit it easily. There are no restaurants, so it's recommended to bring your own drinks and food. It's located along the Minobu Line, so you can access it by using the Minobu Line.

Daibon Hirin Park, located about 3 kilometers away from the main venue of the Shimei Fireworks Festival, is the perfect place to watch the fireworks. It is situated on a hill, providing a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. Additionally, you can also see the fireworks up close from within the park. On the day of the Shimei Fireworks Festival, the roads around the park can get congested, so it is recommended to use public transportation. It is about a 10-minute walk from Ichikawa Daimon Station on the JR Minobu Line, and shuttle buses may also be available.

There are many playgrounds and tourist spots around Daimon Hirin Park where you can enjoy with your children, such as the former Kisawa Elementary School and the Minami Alps Fully Ripe Farm. In addition, there are play equipment and open spaces in the park where families can enjoy themselves. As it is located along the Minobu Line, you can access it by using the Minobu Line. On the day of the Shinto Fireworks Festival, it is recommended to secure a spot early as it is expected to be crowded.

At Daimon Hirin Park, there are buildings and gardens where you can experience Chinese culture. Historical Chinese monuments, such as the Jiwang Shengjiao Monument, which was created by collecting characters written by the calligraphy master Wang Xizhi, and the poet Du Fu's monument from the Tang Dynasty, are also on display. It's about a 10-minute walk from Ichikawa Daimon Station on the JR Minobu Line. There are many hot springs and tourist spots along the Minobu Line, making it a convenient location for tourists. There are no restaurants in the park, but there are restaurants and cafes in the surrounding area. Photography is allowed, but be careful as there may be some monuments that you cannot approach.
