The "Shirayukari" at Jossaku-ji Temple is a National Important Cultural Property believed to have been used by Emperor Juntoku. The simple wooden palanquin made of hinoki and tsuga gives a sense of the ancient Kamakura period. Jossaku-ji Temple, a temple of the Nichiren sect, was built by Eisho, a disciple of Saicho, and impresses visitors with its high historical value. It is also gaining attention as a tourist spot in Kai City.
