2 Hours from Tokyo in the Heart of Shinshu!
Suwa City in Nagano Prefecture is a tourist destination with good access from the city center, taking about 2 hours by express train from Tokyo. It is also accessible by car via the Chuo Expressway from Suwa IC or Okaya IC. In addition, it's possible to get off at Kamisuwa Station on the Chuo East Line, about 2 hours from Shinjuku, and access to Kamisuwa Station is also smooth by transferring to the Chuo East Line for about 15 minutes after arriving at Shiojiri Station in about 2 hours from Nagoya on the Chuo West Line. With good transportation access, it's an attractive tourist destination for travelers.
