A natural stone monument carved with a poem dedicated to Lake Senryu, a man-made lake named by Haruo Sato during the war. Haruo Sato was a novelist and poet who worked from the end of the Meiji period to the Showa period, focusing on beautiful and clear poetry and novels of weariness and melancholy.
