Tatsuzo Shimaoka's works can be seen at the modern art museum.
This museum, which opened on July 29, 1997, exhibits the works of Tatsuzo Shimaoka, a Living National Treasure and ceramic artist, as its centerpiece. The design was carried out by Tadao Ando, who has presented numerous works both domestically and internationally, such as "Church of the Light" and "Sumiyoshi Row House," and the museum was completed as a modern concrete building with exposed concrete. It also holds unique special exhibitions with elaborate planning.
