Ryunoji

This is a shrine related to Takeda Shingen, a Sengoku period warlord, where his personal effects and remains are enshrined. The three gates of the shrine have the Takeda family crest, "Takeda Hishi," which was added when Shingen rebuilt the shrine after it was destroyed in a war. The precincts have a solemn atmosphere that exudes history.
