Fudotaki

This waterfall has a drop of about 15 meters and is located in the Hishino Onsen area. It is famous for its "ice waterfall" during the severe cold period. Ice columns of more than 10 meters can also form, creating a natural "ice art"! It is recommended not only in winter but also for summer retreats and autumn foliage viewing. The "back view" where you can go around to the back of the waterfall is also popular. Near the waterfall basin, there is a statue of Fudo Myo-o, which is also the origin of the name. It is said that if you worship it, you can receive the benefit of dispelling evil spirits ^^
