Tachihara Plateau

Located at the foot of Mt. Tengu, this plateau stretches at an altitude of 1,400m in the mountains. It is equipped with auto-camping sites, forest camping sites, cottages, sanitary houses, outdoor stages, and shops. You can enjoy outdoor life while becoming one with nature in the cool and quiet forest. It is also a habitat for over 20,000 azalea plants, and the "Tachihara Plateau Azalea Festival" is held every June.
