Asama Jomon Museum

The Asama Jomon Museum exhibits the Jomon period, which lasted for about 10,000 years from 13,000 years ago to 2,500 years ago, and displays over 100 important cultural heritage materials. On the first floor, vertical pit dwellings, earthenware, clay figures, ritual tools, and decorations are displayed, while on the second floor, visitors can enjoy the volcanic activity, plants, seasons, and structure of Mt. Asama. Inside the museum, visitors can experience various activities such as pottery, stone tools, magatama beads, fire starting, and archery, making it enjoyable for children as well.
