A famous spot where you can overlook Tenryu Gorge in a leisurely stroll.
This is an 80m high pedestrian walkway located under the Tenryu-kyo Bridge. The attraction point is that you can enjoy the spectacular views of the famous scenic spot "Tenryu-kyo" while walking along the promenade. If you look down, you can enjoy the views of the Tenryu River, the Iida Bridge Line, and the scenery of river rafting.

Sorasampo Tenryukyo is located in the upstream area of Tenryukyo and can be reached by crossing a suspension bridge. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a beautiful 360-degree view, including the Southern Alps. It's especially beautiful during the autumn foliage season, with the best viewing time being from early to mid-November. It's about a 30-minute drive from the center of Iida City, and there are many hot springs and tourist spots in the surrounding area. Please come and visit.

Access

Basic Information on Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge
Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge can be accessed from Tenryu Gorge IC on the San-En-Nanshin Expressway to Tenryu Gorge PA. From Tenryu Gorge PA, you can reach Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge on foot. The travel time varies depending on the season. From April to September, it is open from 6:30 to 18:00, and from October to March, it is open from 7:30 to 16:30. However, please note that the hours may change depending on weather conditions, so please check for the latest information. Admission is free. For inquiries or more detailed information, please contact the Tenryu Gorge Onsen Tourism Association.
