Scenic Walk in the Sky

Sorasampo Tenryukyo is located in the upstream area of Tenryukyo and can be reached by crossing a suspension bridge. From the observation deck, you can enjoy a beautiful 360-degree view, including the Southern Alps. It's especially beautiful during the autumn foliage season, with the best viewing time being from early to mid-November. It's about a 30-minute drive from the center of Iida City, and there are many hot springs and tourist spots in the surrounding area. Please come and visit.

It's a spot where you can experience a thrilling bridge crossing. The natural beauty of Tenryu-kyo, which can be seen from the bridge, is dynamic and beautiful, so it's highly recommended. People with a fear of heights may feel a little scared, but when visiting Tenryu-kyo PA, please try crossing it!

Basic Information on Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge

Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge can be accessed from Tenryu Gorge IC on the San-En-Nanshin Expressway to Tenryu Gorge PA. From Tenryu Gorge PA, you can reach Sora-sanpo Tenryu Gorge on foot. The travel time varies depending on the season. From April to September, it is open from 6:30 to 18:00, and from October to March, it is open from 7:30 to 16:30. However, please note that the hours may change depending on weather conditions, so please check for the latest information. Admission is free.
