Kuromon Gate at Ennouji Temple is a relocated temple gate that still bears bullet holes from the Battle of Ueno on July 4, 1868. At the time, Ennouji Temple became a battlefield and many buildings were burned down, but Kuromon Gate miraculously survived. Looking at Kuromon Gate, you can imagine the intense battle that took place at that time. It's a must-see for history buffs.
