Hotel is like less than 5 mins from the correct exit. Super convenient. Ikebukuro is a good base to go to places like kawagoe and kamakura, minus the frantic crowd like tokyo, shibuya etc. On yamanote line, hence easy to go Ueno, tokyo station etc. You can take the airport shuttle bus ( willer express) very near to Ikebukuro stn. Peaceful corner of the station and yet you can shop at ease at Tobu ( close at 8pm) and Seibu ( close at 9pm). Quite many eating options surrounding, just round the corner is an eatery that sells fantastic grilled fish. Family room (4pax) faces directly against the station and you can hear the vividly, though i am a light sleeper, it did not bother me at all. We are usually so tired every day after walking. Room is slightly small. 2 individual beds against one corner, another is a pull out bed and sleeps 4. Room is quite dusty though, usually see dust when you flip the blanket. There is a table with no chairs, hence have to stand while eating or eat out. Appreciate the room's heater ( heater and aircon 2 in 1). Makes the room bearable in this winter. Blanket is very warm too. Bathroom and toilet is together, hence slightly inconvenient for 4 pax. Very value for money as we book below $200 for a night. For the convenience and value, we are willing to overlook the small inconveniences and be back again for this hotel. Thank you staff
