The view of Tokyo from a height of 450m is vastly different from the usual scenery and never gets boring no matter how long you look at it. Another charm of Tokyo Skytree is that you can enjoy the changing appearance of Tokyo at a leisurely pace depending on the time of day. The view from Tokyo Skytree can be captured beautifully in photos, but it's recommended to take time-lapse shots of the changing cityscape illuminated by the sunset and the unceasing lights of the city at night.

Soramachi, located at the base of Tokyo Skytree, is a very enjoyable shopping area. It has various shops selling unique Japanese souvenirs, gourmet food, popular character goods, and more, making it the perfect place for both sightseeing and shopping. Soramachi has different themes in different areas, but the "Soramachi Shotengai" (shopping street) is especially recommended for tourists. It has 35 shops in a row, each with a nostalgic atmosphere. It's a shopping street that even foreign tourists can enjoy.

In February 2015, the "Fast Skytree Ticket" service was launched to improve the convenience of foreign tourists. This ticket allows foreign visitors with limited stay time to enjoy Tokyo Skytree with shorter waiting times. The ticket is available not only for foreign tourists but also for Japanese visitors accompanying them.

Tokyo Skytree's Famous "Glass Floor"

One of the thrilling spots at Tokyo Skytree is the famous "Glass Floor." It's located near the photo service corner on the observation deck. For example, on New Year's Eve, there is a red and white light-up inspired by the Japanese flag, and on Valentine's Day, there is a colorful light-up inspired by chocolate. Fees for Viewing Tokyo from the Tallest Point

Tokyo Skytree has two observation spaces at heights of 350m and 450m, respectively, each requiring a separate ticket. The Tembo Deck, located at a height of 350m, costs 2,100 yen on weekdays and 2,300 yen on weekends and holidays, while the Tembo Gallery, located at a height of 450m, costs 3,100 yen on weekdays and 3,400 yen on weekends and holidays for a set ticket with the Tembo Deck. However, there is a trick to buying these tickets at a cheaper price! That is to purchase the tickets online in advance. By doing so, you can purchase Tembo Deck tickets for 300 yen and set tickets for 400 yen cheaper than the regular price.

My visit to Tokyo Skytree was truly a memorable experience, combining breathtaking views with an array of exciting activities. 土曜の午後に行きました。前売り券は購入していなかったので、当日web予約で展望デッキと展望回廊のセット券を購入しました。時間が選べるので、夕暮れ時から夜景に変わっていく様子が見られる17時半を購入しました。予約時間まではソラマチを見て回ったり遅めのランチを頂いたりしていました。土曜なので勿論ソラマチも混んでいましたが、とにかくいろんな国からの観光客が多く、その様子を見ているだけでも飽きませんでした。 17時を過ぎるとようやく17時半入場の待機列ができたので並びました。予約しているとはいえ、展望デッキに着くまでには30分くらいはかかりました。とても混んでいますが皆さんスタッフさんの誘導に従ってトラブルなく進んで、高速のエレベーターに乗ってようやく展望デッキに着きました。ここも当然混んでいて窓際には常に人がいますが、後ろで少し待っていれば入れ替りで窓際に行けます。あまりにも高いので逆に怖さなどは全くなく、薄闇の夕景から煌めく夜景に変わる時間をゆっくりと堪能できました。デッキをぐるっと一周して、再びエレベーターに乗って更に上の展望回廊へ。ここはデッキよりも人がちょっとだけ少なかったです。最高到達点のソラカラポイントがあるので記念に撮影。ここも一周して、今度は下りエレベーターでスカイツリーショップのあるフロア345へ。ここでちょっとお買い物をしてから更に下のフロア340のあの有名なガラス床へ。足元がガラスで透けていますがあまりにも高いので実感が湧きませんでしたが、記念撮影をしてもらって1500円で購入して来ました。スマホでも撮影してもらえるので、記念写真は購入しなくてもOKです。名残惜しいですが20時頃にデッキを降り、5階のスカイツリーショップで買い忘れたお土産を買って20時過ぎにスカイツリーを後にしました。混雑していましたがそれも含めてスカイツリーを楽しく満喫できました。

スカイツリーの良さは、何といってもその高さからの絶景！展望デッキからは東京の街並みが360度見渡せ、晴れた日には遠く富士山まで見えることもあります。特に夕方から夜にかけては、空の色が移り変わりながらの夜景が本当に美しいです。また、スカイツリータウン内にはおしゃれなショップやカフェ、レストランがたくさんあり、観光ついでにお買い物やグルメも楽しめます。家族連れにもカップルにもぴったりのスポットで、一度行けばまた来たくなる魅力があります！
