Access to Marche Kanda Manseibashi

Taking the train is the most convenient way to get to Marche Kanda Manseibashi. It's about a 4-minute walk from the Electric Town exit of Akihabara Station on the JR Line, and about a 6-minute walk from Exit 3 of the Hibiya Line on the Tokyo Metro. It's also about a 6-minute walk from the North exit of Kanda Station on the JR Line, and about a 2-minute walk from Exit 6 of the Ginza Line on the Tokyo Metro. If you're coming by car, please note that there is no parking lot on site, so be sure to check nearby paid parking lots before heading out.

【異空間へようこそ】秋葉原にもこんなところがあるんだね... オタクもいなければ、メイドもいない。ギラギラとした電飾もなければ、呼び込みの声も聞こえない。こういう場所で飲むビールはコクと旨みが5％増しになるから不思議だ。アルコールを飲まない人なら、コーヒーと谷崎潤一郎の陰翳礼讃をお薦めする。アルコールもコーヒーも嗜まず本も読まないなら、しばらく神田川をぼーっと眺めてから旨いものを食えば良い。レトロな佇まいと、少しだけゆっくり流れる時間。その一瞬、この空間の中で私も作品の一部になる。

旧万世橋駅・鉄道遺構をリノベーションした「マーチエキュート神田万世橋」気負わずにラフにアートを体験する事が出来て、入ってみたいお店多数。どの場所からもヴィンテージ感を素敵に感じられて、ピカピカの新しい建築には出せないシブい雰囲気があり、かっこいいです。かつてここには、東京駅と同じ建築家・辰野金吾、葛西萬司設計の赤レンガ造りの駅舎があったのだそう✨ 現在はJRビルとなっていますが、ビルの周りには、歴史を紹介するパネルなど多数設置されていて、とても興味深く拝見しました。エキュート内のライブラリーに大正時代の万世橋駅周辺の「ジオラマ」も展示されていて感動☆ 壁面や階段（1912年、1935年）など歴史的価値のある遺構も大切に残されていて、自由に体験出来ます。２階のプラットフォームからは、すぐ脇を電車が通り、レストランもありました。「JAPAN ART BRIDGE」が開催するイベントやワークショップも多数。参加してみたいです☆

JAPAN ART BRIDGEさんのイベントに参加させていただきました。ピエール・ジャンヌレ(ル・コルビュジエの従兄弟)がデザインした、1950〜60年代の家具など、現代アートに関する解説付き。何年か前、ここを訪れたことはあったが、ガイドの方に解説してもらい、一つの場所にいる時間が長くなると、感じることが絶対的に増量すると思った。オノ・ヨーコさんが作った「国境のない地球儀」が印象的。煉瓦造りの旧万世橋駅が脈々と現在に続いている、特別な場所だと思う。
