Discounts Available for Tourists and Families
The admission fee for the permanent exhibition is 520 yen for those over 20 years old (excluding students), 300 yen for those 19 years old and younger or students, 100 yen for high school students and those under 65 years old, and free for junior high school students and younger. There is also a group discount available by reservation, with a fee of 410 yen for those over 20 years old (excluding students) and 200 yen for those 19 years old and younger or students, for groups of 20 or more. Additionally, if you present a comprehensive guide with the Odakyu Electric Railway's "Hakone Free Pass" or the Izu Hakone Bus's "Hakone Tabisuke" or "Hakone Bus Free" round-trip passes, you can receive a discount, so don't forget to bring them. On the first Sunday of every month, it's "Family Communication Day," and Kanagawa residents with children under 18 years old can view the exhibition at a discounted rate. Please print and bring the discount coupon from the Kanagawa Prefecture website's Family Communication Movement.
