Enjoy the Scenery of Minato Mirai

At YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, which opened as Japan's first urban circular ropeway with a maximum height of about 40 meters, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Minato Mirai cityscape. The view, which combines the sea, trees, and modern buildings, is a wonderful sight that can only be seen in Yokohama. It's recommended for couples on a date as you can enjoy the scenery without worrying about your surroundings.

At YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN, the station building and gondolas are illuminated at night, offering a different view from during the day. The illuminations were created under the supervision of lighting designer Mikako Ishii, so you can enjoy them with a slight sense of art. In addition, the illuminations of the Red Brick Warehouse and Cosmo Clock 21, which can be seen from the gondola while in the air, are also highlights.

Enjoy a Great Deal on the Ferris Wheel

YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN is selling a great value set ticket that allows you to enjoy the "Cosmo Clock 21," which has become a symbol of Minato Mirai, at the same time as the Ferris wheel. The one-way ticket, which is combined with a Ferris wheel ride ticket, costs 1,500 yen for adults, and the round-trip ticket costs 2,300 yen. It's 400 yen cheaper than buying them separately, so be sure to enjoy both when you visit Yokohama.

Numerous Spots to Play Regardless of the Weather

"Yokohama World Porters," located just off the Canal Park Station, is a complex commercial facility where you can play without worrying about the weather. Inside the building, there is a "Hawaiian Town" that replicates the streets of Hawaii, restaurants where you can enjoy delicious cuisine, an AEON cinema, and a variety of other facilities. The restaurants and cafes are open until 23:00, making it a recommended spot to enjoy until late at night.

Boarding Area in Front of JR Sakuragicho Station

YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN can be boarded from two locations: Sakuragicho Station and Unkai Park Station. When accessing by public transportation, it's recommended to use "YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN Sakuragicho Station," which is located a 1-minute walk from the east exit of JR Sakuragicho Station. If using the Minatomirai Line of the Yokohama High-Speed Railway, it's accessible from "Bashamichi Station" with a 7-minute walk.

Parking

Use Nearby Facilities for Parking

YOKOHAMA AIR CABIN does not have its own parking lot. Therefore, when coming by car, you must use nearby parking facilities. We recommend the HULIC Minato Mirai Parking Lot, located just a 2-minute walk from AIR CABIN Sakuragicho Station. This large facility is open 24 hours and can accommodate up to 549 cars. The basic fee is 330 yen (tax included) for 30 minutes, but it's also a great point that the maximum daily fee is set at 1,870 yen.
