Koharajuku Honjin is the only surviving honjin (a type of inn for government officials and daimyo) in Kanagawa Prefecture, and is a historically valuable building where a daimyo procession stayed. It is a tourist spot that conveys the history and culture of the Edo period, and is located along the Koshu Kaido road. You can catch a glimpse of the characteristic roof with kabuto-yane (helmet-shaped gables) and traditional Japanese house architecture. Please come and visit Koharajuku Honjin, where you can feel the history of Japan.
