This is the world's largest bronze standing statue, standing at a height of 120 meters. It is the largest bronze standing statue in the world and is registered in the Guinness Book of World Records. Point 1

Observatory and Womb Space of the Ushiku Daibutsu

The Ushiku Daibutsu has an observatory where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding scenery. You can access the observatory via an elevator inside the Daibutsu, and enjoy views of Ushiku City and the Kanto Plain. On clear days, you can even see Mt. Fuji. The first to fifth floors inside the Daibutsu are known as the "womb space" of the Daibutsu, where you can see exhibits related to the Daibutsu, such as copying sutras, observatory, a model of the Daibutsu's thumb, and explanatory panels. Why not enter inside and enjoy the Daibutsu, not just from the outside?

A Pure Land Garden Spreading Below the Great Buddha Statue!

Below the Great Buddha statue, there is a Pure Land garden where you can take a stroll in a calm atmosphere. The Pure Land garden is a beautiful garden that uses finely crushed "white sand" and features rocks and stones of various sizes arranged to create a Zen-like world. Within the garden, there are many attractions such as Japan's largest incense burner, statues of Shakyamuni, Nizon, and Amida, a sea of flowers, and a dispatch gate. If you visit both the Ushiku Daibutsu and the Pure Land garden, you can enjoy the majestic Buddha statue and the peaceful garden at the same time!

Facility where you can interact with animals and relax

The Fureai Garden Terrace is a place where you can relax while interacting with animals in a natural and rich environment located on the grounds of "Ushiku Daibutsu". Here, you can see the cute Japanese macaques perform on the monkey stage. The monkeys follow their master and perform a variety of performances similar to street performances. At the petting area, you can directly interact with small animals and even experience feeding them. The monkey stage is held every day except Fridays, and the petting zoo is only open on Sundays and holidays!

Ami Town Fureai no Mori is a natural park with a spacious site that includes promenades, grassy fields, and observation decks, as well as a barbecue area. Reservations are required for the barbecue area, and it is a paid service. Facilities such as tables, chairs, charcoal grills, and nets are provided. You will need to bring your own food, cooking utensils, and drinks. In addition, there are rules for handling fire and disposing of trash, so be sure to check them before using the area. The Ushiku Daibutsu is a 120m tall bronze statue located in Ushiku City, known as the 6th tallest standing statue and the largest bronze standing statue of Buddha in the world. The inside of the Ushiku Daibutsu has an elevator that can take you up to the top floor. From the top floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding area from the observation deck, overlooking the scenery of southern Ibaraki prefecture. At night, the statue is illuminated, creating a fantastic atmosphere. There is also natural scenery such as the Ushiku Swamp in the surrounding area, making it a popular tourist spot. We recommend visiting this symbol of Ushiku City.

茨城県牛久市にある観光名所です。高さ120メートルの世界一の高さの大仏です。ギネス認定の証明書もありました。大仏内部に入ることもできます。エレベーターで移動する部分もありますが、階段で移動する部分もありました。大仏内部にはトイレがありませんでした。また、お土産物屋がありました。写経体験も可能でした。外では御朱印もありました。お土産物や食べ物のお店もありました。アジア系の外国人観光客もたくさんいました。駐車場は100台以上は駐車可能です。春は桜が綺麗なようです。

かわいいお猿のショーを目当てに行きました。今回で２回目です。前回も今回も土曜日だったのですが前回は３連休中の土曜日だったからか小動物との触れ合いコーナーが開いていて子供と一緒に楽しめたので今回も…と思っていたら、動物との触れ合いは基本日曜と祝日のみだそうで、今回は可愛い小動物に会えずじまいでした。残念。行けるのが平日か土曜日のみなのでせめて土曜日も触れ合い出来るようにして欲しいなーと思い☆4つです。園内広くて綺麗なのでお散歩目当てに行くのも良い感じですよ。鯉の餌やりも楽しかったです。お猿のショーは日によって時間や回数が異なるようなので気を付けて下さいね。

兎に角圧巻！茨城在住の知人から春の桜と芝桜と大仏様の写真を頂いて一度行ってみたくて東京から電車で行って来ました！コスモスも満開で極楽浄土に行った⁉️気分が味わえて私の煩悩も捨てられてwwwとても素敵な一日でした🥰😇 牛久駅からバスで行く方は一日4本？くらいしかないので事前に調べてから行ってくださいタクシーだと🚕4000円くらい掛かるらしいです帰りは一日3本しか走ってませんでした
