Parking Information for Shirarahama Beach
In Wakayama Prefecture's Shirarahama Beach, there is the Shirarahama Parking Lot. This parking lot can accommodate up to 60 cars. However, depending on the season, there may be a fee, so please check the latest information on parking fees when visiting. During busy seasons such as summer, it can get crowded, so it's recommended to go early. If you come by car, please use the parking lot and enjoy a fun time at Shirarahama Beach and the surrounding tourist spots.

Access

Access to Shirarahama Beach
There are various ways to access Shirarahama Beach in Wakayama Prefecture. If you're using the train, take the JR Kinokuni Line Kuroshio Limited Express from Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, Osaka, or Tennoji to Shirahama Onsen Town, then take a bus or taxi for about 10-15 minutes. If you're driving, take the Hanshin Expressway Bayshore Line, Kansai International Airport Expressway, Hanwa Expressway, and Kisei Expressway from Osaka or Kobe, and get off at Nanki Shirahama IC to arrive. You can also access Nanki Shirahama IC from Nagoya or Kyoto using the same route. If you're using a highway bus, buses to Shirahama from Osaka or Tokyo are available, with travel times ranging from 3 hours and 30 minutes to about 10 hours and 30 minutes. If you're using a plane, flights from Tokyo's Haneda Airport to Nanki Shirahama Airport are available, and it takes about 10-15 minutes by bus or taxi to get to the hot spring town.
