Adventure World houses about 1400 animals of approximately 140 different species. You can encounter rare animals that are in danger of extinction, such as the popular giant panda with its adorable appearance and the white tiger with its beautiful white fur. In Safari World, you can enjoy the lively appearance of animals in a different way from zoos that are enclosed by cages, by viewing them from a dedicated vehicle. There are also areas where you can enjoy walking, allowing you to take a leisurely stroll at your own pace.

At Adventure World, various shows are held where different animals move gracefully and entertain the audience. The perfectly synchronized performance between the trainer and the dolphins is sure to leave you impressed.

For couples on a date or families with small children, the Ocean View Wheel, which reaches a maximum height of 59.6 meters, is recommended. You can enjoy a panoramic view of Adventure World.

The nearest station to Adventure World is JR Shirahama Station, which can be accessed by bus in about 10 minutes from the station. It's also conveniently located just a 5-minute drive from Nanki Shirahama Airport, the gateway to Wakayama Prefecture. As it's within a 10-minute drive from Nanki Shirahama Onsen, which is lined with hot springs and hotels, we recommend a travel plan where you can enjoy sightseeing in the Nanki Shirahama area while staying overnight.

Parking

Equipped with Electric Vehicle Charging Facilities
Adventure World has a large parking lot that can accommodate about 5,000 cars, so there is no need to worry about parking during busy periods such as Golden Week and summer vacation. The parking fee is 1,200 yen per day for regular cars and 500 yen for motorcycles. In addition, there are five dedicated charging facilities for electric vehicles. It's also a nice point that the charging fee is included in the parking fee.
