Access

Access to the Pharmaceutical Learning Museum
Access to the Pharmaceutical Learning Museum is easy by car or public transportation. Those using the Shin-Meishin Expressway can arrive in just 15 minutes from either the Konan IC or Koka-Tsuchiyama IC. If using public transportation, transfer at Kusatsu Station on the JR Tokaido Main Line (Biwako Line), then get off at either Koka Station or Aburahi Station on the JR Kusatsu Line and walk for about 20 minutes to arrive. You can aim for the Pharmaceutical Learning Museum while taking a pleasant stroll. The transportation options are convenient, so please feel free to visit with your friends and family.

Parking

Parking at the Kusuri Gakushukan
Kusuri Gakushukan has a fully equipped parking lot and bicycle parking area. The spacious parking lot has 18 spaces, and the bicycle parking area has 50 spaces (※bus parking is also available). Both are available free of charge, so please feel free to use them when you visit. Although the parking lot is well-equipped, it can get crowded, so we recommend arriving early. As there is also a parking lot, we recommend accessing the facility by car.

Learn About Medicine for Free at the Drug Learning Center
At the Drug Learning Center, we welcome anyone interested in pharmaceuticals to visit us free of charge. We are open from 9:30am to 5:00pm, so feel free to drop by anytime during those hours. Please note that we are closed every Monday. The Drug Learning Center was established to broaden understanding of pharmaceuticals. We invite you to spend a meaningful time here with your friends and family.
