At the Asahi Beer Suita Factory, you can participate in a factory tour where you can learn about the beer making process. The tour takes about 90 minutes and you can experience it in the order of theater, museum tour, and beer tasting. You can also participate with your children, and soft drinks are provided for them, so you can rest assured. It's definitely a must-see for beer lovers!

At the "SUPER DRY 318 THE DIVE" exhibit in the museum, you can use virtual reality (VR) technology to experience the perspective of yeast and see what's happening inside the fermentation tank! Most people have probably never thought about what happens inside the fermentation tank during the beer-making process. With this exhibit, you can have a fascinating experience seeing how beer is made from yeast's point of view.

At the "SUPER DRY GO RIDE" within the same museum, you can learn about the beer filling process from the perspective of being on top of a can of Super Dry beer. The chairs you sit on vibrate according to the manufacturing speed, and wind and mist are emitted depending on the process. You can have a valuable experience feeling the excitement of the beer manufacturing process with all five senses!

At the end of the tour, you can enjoy a freshly brewed "Super Dry" beer! Drinking beer while looking back on the tour is sure to be delicious. You can even experience pouring your own draft beer with the "serve experience" or draw pictures and letters on the beer foam with the "foam art" experience, making it perfect for SNS posts. For those who are not fond of alcohol or for children, there are also "Calpis" and "Mitsuya Cider" available, so you can enjoy without worry.

Take Home a Souvenir Glass

After touring the museum, you can receive a "museum-limited logo beer glass" as a souvenir. When you get home and drink ice-cold beer in this glass, it will bring back memories of the museum. In addition, you can purchase many Asahi beer-related souvenirs at the museum shop, so be sure to take them home without any regrets.

Asahi Beer Suita Brewery Convenient Access by Train
Convenient Access by Train
Asahi Beer Suita Brewery is located in the city, making it easily accessible by train. If taking the train, it's a 10-minute walk from the East Exit (North Gate) of JR Kyoto Line Suita Station, or a 10-minute walk from either the East or West Exit of Hankyu Senri Line Suita Station. It takes about 20 minutes by car from Suita IC, but considering the tasting, taking the train might be a better option!

Souvenirs

Purchase at Asahi Museum Shop
At the "Asahi Museum Shop" located next to the beer factory, you can purchase plenty of souvenirs that beer lovers will adore. Asahi beer, of course, is available, as well as snacks that go well with beer, original glasses for "Super Dry" and "Asahi Draft Beer," and original T-shirts. With so many options, it may be difficult to choose, but please try to find your favorite souvenir!

Fee

Tour Participation Fee Required
To participate in the Asahi Beer Factory tour, those 20 years and older are required to pay a fee of 1,000 yen, while elementary school students and above are required to pay 300 yen. The adult fee includes a tasting of Asahi beer. Payment must be made at the ticket vending machine on the day of the tour, but it's convenient as it accepts not only cash but also various credit cards, barcode payments, and transportation IC payments.
