From there, take the Nara Kotsu bus and get off at Dogawa Onsen. The bus ride takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. If going by car, take National Route 309 from Shimoichi-cho, Nara Prefecture. It takes about 2 hours by car from Nara City.

Fee

Admission Fee is 450 yen
The admission fee for Menfudou Cave is 450 yen for adults and 200 yen for elementary school students and younger. Additionally, if you use the trolley train to get to the cave, it costs 300 yen one way and 500 yen for a round trip ticket. It's rare in Japan to be able to enjoy a cave for under 1000 yen. The business hours are from 8:00 to 18:00 during the summer and from 9:00 to 17:00 during the winter. Admission is available until 30 minutes before closing time.

Parking

Use the Municipal Parking Lot
