History

Known as a Medicinal Hot Spring since the Heian Period!

According to local records, Inonohama Onsen has been in operation since the Heian period, with legends even suggesting that Yakushinyorai, a famous Asuka period monk, was responsible for its discovery. During the Edo period, it was known for its medicinal properties, and people would come from Kyoto and Nara to take the waters. Unfortunately, when the Oosako Dam was completed after the war, the original hot spring was submerged, but a new source was discovered, and the current Inonohama Onsen was born.

Day Trip Hot Springs for 800 yen per Adult

One of the famous hot spring inns in Irinami Onsen is "Yamabato-yu". Here, you can also use the hot springs for a day trip, so you can enjoy sightseeing around the area and then relax in the hot springs at the end of the day. The usage fee is 800 yen for adults and 400 yen for elementary school students and younger. Towels are not provided, so you need to bring your own. Please note that the reception for day trip hot springs is until 4pm, so be careful.

はぁい♪ここは奈良の吉野にありますよ〜(^^) ダム2個ほど登って行くよーとっても楽しいドライブコースの先に　とっても素敵な温泉が　ありますよ〜＼(^o^)／行ってから知ったのですが宿泊施設もあるみたいだ。私は日帰り温泉でしたーお昼に到着　ハイ　ここのお食事処は　釜飯有名みたいだよ～お風呂は内風呂　露天　あります。内風呂の何だろなぁ‥もう浴槽にビッシリカルシュウムがツイてる感じで　お湯の色が濁った感じで　足元危ないなぁーちょっと温めの感じですネそれもまた良いですよ(^o^)　上がった後気持ちが良いわー期待どおりの良いお風呂だよ～堪能させて頂きました ☺

お風呂はぬるめと言って良いかな。夏でもゆっくり浸かっていられました。飲食スペースも併設されていて、郷土色のあるお食事を提供されています。時間があれば釜飯もいいと思います。お肌もなんか良い感じになったような。大台ヶ原の汗を流すには良いところだと思います。近くの道の駅の日帰り入浴は2回行ってどちらもお休みされていたので、平日なら要確認かもです。

日帰りで温泉を利用し、昼飯に釜飯をいただきました。温泉はほぼ20年ぶりとなりますが、まったく以前と変わらぬ佇まいで、夥しい沖積物というかカルシウム分の塊は圧巻です。今回は初めてご飯をいただくことにしたのですが、入浴前に釜飯を注文しておきました。あまご釜飯を連れ合いが、ワタクシは鮎釜飯を注文しました。結果、これまで食べた中で一番旨い釜飯でした。鮎の香りや風味は抜群に生きていて、ほろ苦いワタの部分がガツンとしたパンチになって効いています。連れ合いのあまご釜飯も一口いぢいたのですが、上品な味わいで旨くはあるのですが、ワタクシは鮎釜飯がイチオシでした。箸が止まらず、一気に食べきってしまい、また食べに来たい衝動にかられました。絶対にまた食べに来ます。ごちそうさまでした🐸
