The Secrets of Abe no Seimei and Onmyodo

Abe Monju-in Temple is the birthplace of Abe no Seimei and displays ancient documents related to Onmyodo and a statue of Abe no Seimei. Abe no Seimei is known as the founder of Onmyodo and is said to have used curse divination to quell epidemics. In the spring, the temple holds a treasure exhibition where the statue of Abe no Seimei and ancient documents related to Onmyodo are displayed. The temple is also famous as a site for astronomical observation, and from the observation deck, you can see the blooming cherry blossoms on the temple grounds.
