The Kamoyamaguchi Shrine in Gose City is home to the important cultural properties of Japan, the Dainichi Reclining Statue and the Goryeo Great Spirit Seated Statue, which have a long and storied history. The one-wooden-structure, colored statues have been passed down since the Heian period and while they are not open to the public, their mere existence is enough to move visitors. Additionally, this shrine is the origin of all Kamogamo Shrines across the country, and by learning about the Yayoi period ruins of the Kamotsuba ruins, visitors can transport themselves back to ancient times.
