Taisho-ji Temple in Yawata City is a historic site with deep connections to Shoen Matsukado. The temple features the grave and treasure house of Shoen, a monk and cultural figure from the early Edo period, as well as the tea room "Kan'unken," which is counted among Japan's top 100 tea rooms. The beautiful garden and the rich natural scenery of the four seasons are also highlights. Admission requires prior contact, but it's definitely worth it for the value it offers.
