Komyoji

This is the head temple of the Nishiyama Jodo sect, where Honen Shonin first preached the teachings of Nembutsu. The vast site covers about 18,000 tsubo and offers historical heritage and rich nature. Especially in autumn, you can enjoy vivid autumn leaves on the "Momiji approach" beyond the main gate.
