Kutsukawa Karazuka Tomb

The Kutsukawa Shakazuka Kofun is a tomb from the 5th century, and the Nagamochi-shaped stone coffin unearthed from the rear circular part has been designated as an important cultural property. Many relics from the Kofun period have been excavated in the surrounding area, allowing you to learn about the culture and history of the Kofun period. There are exhibitions on the Kofun period at the Joyo City Historical Folk Museum and the Kyoto University Museum.
