Mimurotoji Temple in Uji City is known as the "Temple of Flowers," where various flowers bloom throughout the four seasons. The vast garden is adorned with beautiful lotus flowers and about 20,000 hydrangeas of approximately 50 different species. Especially in spring, 250 weeping plum trees bloom with a fragrant scent, creating a breathtaking view. In addition, the historic buildings and Buddhist statues are also a must-see, such as the main hall enshrining the secret statue of Senju Kannon and the Tamamai stage where a pair of stone rabbits sit. And the biggest feature of this temple is its stone monument, which is said to increase good luck and make wishes come true. It's also gaining attention as a power spot that leads to healthy feet and legs!
