Keishun-in is a historic temple founded in the Heian period, surrounded by beautiful nature throughout the four seasons. In spring, a 300-year-old wisteria trellis is in full bloom, with long flower clusters that are stunningly beautiful. Additionally, one of Japan's three great cherry blossom trees, the Miharu Takizakura cherry tree, has been planted, allowing visitors to enjoy the magnificent cherry blossoms in spring. In autumn, the foliage is beautiful, and various flowers bloom throughout the year. Keishun-in is located on the south side of Byodo-in Temple and can be visited together with it. It's a recommended place to spend a quiet time with historical value.
