桜のシーズンに夫婦で行って来ました。コロナ禍でしたが、室内ではなく窓の無い屋根だけの屋形船なので、密にならなくてよかったです。食事（お酒なども）は、乗り場の正面にある料亭から運ばれて、船内でいただきました。船は、思ったより揺れず、水面と近いせいか、下から桜や護岸の景色を楽しみながらの食事で贅沢な一時でした。食事は、品数が多く見た目以上のボリュームでした。京都らしい上品であっさりした味付けが、誰でも楽しめると思います。船は約40分ほどの乗船時間で、のんびり食事は、出来なさそうでした。宇治川の中洲に咲く桜は、まだ若木でした。船頭さんにお聞きしたら、宇治川護岸工事の際、引き抜いたとかで、現在は新しい桜が多かったのが残念です。

初めて　鵜飼なるものを見てきました　　料金は大人１名　2000円　小人１名 1000円です。時間は大体　１時間程度でしょうか　乗り合いの船で　一艘　約20名から25名程乗っていました！　他にも貸し切り船がありこちらは一艘28000円弱　大体20名程乗っておられました。　貸し切り船の方は食べ物や飲み物を持って乗っても良いとのこと。　船のすぐ目の前で鵜飼をしていただけるのでよく見えて良かった！

京都ならではの素敵な景色を見ることができます♪ 鵜飼も行うのですが他の鵜飼と違うのは通常は紐で繋がれた鵜が水辺で漁をしたのを紐を手繰り寄せる漁法なのですがこちらは自由に鵜が泳いで魚を捕まえたところで鵜匠と呼ばれる方が呼び寄せる漁法です信頼と信用も一緒に見れる高等な鵜飼を見ることができる素晴らしい場所です宇治川観光船として活用する場合乗合船は予約は必要ありませんが貸切船は予約が必要になりますのでご注意ください♪
