Ozumi Sharako Tomb, located in Kyotanabe City, is a keyhole-shaped tomb measuring 66 meters in length and has been designated as a national historic site. Its unique shape, with a surrounding moat, is rare throughout the country, and it is a must-see alongside the similarly shaped and sized Ozumi Minami-zuka Tomb. The main part is believed to have been a vertical hole-style stone chamber or a clay coffin, making it a historically valuable tourist spot. Once you visit, you will undoubtedly feel the atmosphere of the 5th century.
