This place is a house. It has 2 beds in one bedroom and 3 futons in another. This house is a traditional architecture home with all the modern amenities. All the rooms on the entire first floor including toilet and bathroom have heated floors which can be turned on and off individually. It also has a heated bathtub with whirlpool function but I didn’t really use it. First floor has 2 split type heating and cooling systems and 2 more on the second floor in each bedrooms. There is also a small garden in the back that can be accessed from the tatami room on the first floor. All the rooms are very large for typical Japanese standard and quite roomy. Kitchen has a good size table with 4 upholstered chairs with armrests. It has a stove, a large sink, small fridge and a microwave toaster oven combo (be careful not to use toaster functions trying to heat a plastic container like I did). This place is 5 minute walk from a Lawson convenient store that has just about anything one would need in a pinch. There’s also a large grocery store 8-10 minutes away. This place is also a stone throw away Fushimi innari (probably 10 minute walk). And there are so many stores and restaurants around the shrine. There is a cake shop, Chinese restaurant, yakitori restaurant and pastry shop very close by. Keep in mind that this small yakitori joint allows smoking but it has some tasty skewers. No clothes dryer in the house but a laundromat directly across the street. Would stay again.
