Never been to Japan or Hiroshima. Booked two single rooms for one night as it was fairly close to Train Station and Hiroshima castle etc The staff were very very friendly. The room was quaint but comfortable. Coffee tea and miso soup packets and lots of other things available on the ground floor. It was pleasant stay. Paid for breakfast the following day Y1200 but the buffet provided didn't seem worth it. Some Western food like eggs and toast and youghurt and fruit but lots of Japanese food that I normally wouldn't eat for breakfast - like rice and stew etc. However the staff as usual were very nice.
The hotel doesn't have many frills like a pool or onsen or whatever - but great for a place to just put your stuff and explore the town.
