This place is such a gem! Located around the corner from Chinatown there's a beautiful park across the street, a Familymart next door, the Yokohama Stadium where they played baseball in the 2020 Olympics, and everything is downtown. Located a 15 minute walk from the Osanbashi Cruise terminal and a 4 minute drive from there, this is a great place to stay if you need to be in town the day before your ship sets sail. Now that's all the stuff about the neighborhood, but what about the hotel?
Fabulous. The Japanese service here is exquisite. Full of gentle smiles and kindness, they were so welcoming. We got here before check in, so the lady at the front desk held our luggage so we could wander around. Instead we opted to hand around in the lobby and she offered us free coffee, and also pointed out all the free amenities we could grab as needed. Stuff like hair brushes, toothbrushes, etc.
We got to our rooms and it's small, but it's cozy. Besides, there's a lot of town to check out and again, if you're waiting for your cruise to start like I was, a small footprint is just fine.
Other amenities include a robe and memory pillows waiting on each floor next to the elevator for you to borrow during your stay. There's even a pants press in the hallway for you to use and a vending machine. My room had such a great view of the traffic and there was definitely an autumn vibe in the air.
The hotel has a complimentary breakfast buffet and pick up toiletries in the lobby.
