The Wajima Lacquerware Museum in Ishikawa Prefecture is the only museum in the world specializing in lacquer art. It introduces the techniques and history of Wajima lacquerware and exhibits collections from both Japan and abroad. In addition, there are handmade experience menus available, where you can enjoy making your own chopsticks. The building is designed in the style of the Shosoin Repository and the spacious interior is also equipped with videos and books!
