At Nata-ji Temple in Komatsu City, a beautiful main hall with a history of about 1,300 years stands. The stunning scenery includes an 11-faced Kannon Bodhisattva made of Kiso hinoki cypress, as well as autumn foliage and strange rocks. This famous temple, which was rebuilt during the Edo period, was visited by the haiku poet Basho and was also a training ground for ascetics. The solemn atmosphere and beautiful sculptures attract visitors. However, it's important to be aware of bear damage and to take proper measures against COVID-19 when visiting.
