Shonen-ji Temple in Sakai City, Fukui Prefecture, is known as the temple where Nitta Yoshisada, a samurai from the Nanboku-cho period, is enshrined and is also famous as a temple connected to Akechi Mitsuhide. It is also the place where Mitsuhide spent time with his family for 10 years from the 5th year of the Eiroku era. Inside the temple grounds, you can see the birthplace of Hosokawa Garasha and the grave of Nitta Yoshisada, and admission is free.
